Signature Cycles will partner with Rapha and Strava this year to challenge the NY/CT area to ride 500km in 8 days. We will be hosting 2 Festive 500 rides from on the 28th and 29th from our CT and NYC locations.
On Saturday the the 28th, the Signature Cycles NYC studio and Rapha Cycle Club NYC will start with a Metro North train ride and explore roads most New Yorkers have yet to meet. We will travel to Signature Cycles in Greenwich, CT and roll through some of the most idyllic roads NE has to offer. Also we will get a chance to see some beautiful hand built bicycles while at the Greenwich Studio!
There are 3 places to meet:
1. At the Cycle Club at 9:30am
2. At Grand Central station in time for the 10:04 train to Greenwich CT
3. At Signature Cycles in Greenwich CT - 14 Railroad Ave. - 11:00am
We will have a moment at Signature's Studio in CT to fill the jersey pockets and have a light snack. The ride will be 28 miles of twisty NE roads.

Please upload the route if you have a GPS device as there are many turns.
The train is off peak and the round trip ticket is $18. All Riders will need to carry an MTA bicycle permit ($5 for a life long pass). Please allow time at G.C. to fill out a small form and purchase this if you do not have one.
Riders can expect to return to G.C. at 3:08pm or 3:38pm
On Sunday the 29th, we will again join rides, and head north via 9W towards Nyack. The ride will be approximately 70 miles, and in Signature and Rapha fashion, we will try to keep the route interesting by adding some alternative roads less traveled.
There will be 2 meeting points:
1. Signature Cycles Manhattan - 8:45
2. Rapha Cycle Club NYC - 8:30

Fall is in full swing here in NYC. Thoughts of bare-kneed riding are a distant memory as I check my phone's weather app to see today's high: 55 degrees. It looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend. October and November are my favorite riding months here in New York and Connecticut. Aero-race gear is replaced by fenders and trusty hand-built wheels. Cyclocross and gravel grinding bikes begin to appear on the roads equipped with 25 and 28mm tires. Best of all, those extra 5 pounds of "winter weight" become a socially acceptable accessory.
With the weather change, I am constantly reminded of that Golden Rule: "There is no bad weather, just bad equipment." For many of us, it's difficult to justify a good pair of winter tights, as compared to a new gadget for our bikes. Our Greenwich Studio Grand Opening party this November was a blast and we wanted to share this short video of the night with you. It's always great to get so many friends, clients and partners together and we want to extend our thanks to everyone for coming out and celebrating with us. Reps from Seven, IF, Guru, Serotta, Parlee, Assos, Rapha, Shimano, Zipp, SRAM and Lightweight were there along with many of our clients. We gave away over $10,000 in prizes in our raffle including a Lightweight wheelset, a Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 group, and a cycling trip to Majorca! Festive 500 with Rapha and Signature Cycles

Once again Rapha challenges riders around the world to avoid the festive flab and clock those miles with the Festive 500 Challenge - Ride 500km between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve posting evidence of your endeavors along the way.
This year Signature Cycles is partnering with Rapha Racing NYC to help make it easier for all of us. After all there is nothing better than suffering with friends!
Join the Rockstar Games / Signature Cycles and Rapha Racing NYC cycling teams as we head on 66.3 mile ride through some of the most beautiful roads in rural Connecticut.
Rapha Mobile Cycle Club visits Signature Cycles Greenwich
June 29th, 8:00am Signature Cycles of Greenwich
Join us on Friday, June 29th for a special 8:00am ride and breakfast at Signature Cycles of Greenwich with the Rapha Mobile Cycle Club. Ben and Ryan pilot the Mobile Cycle Club on their trek through North America, visiting an array of events, races, shops, random cycling hot spots, etc.
We’ll head out for a nice semi-spirited (casually brisk?) two hour group ride, departing from Signature Cycles at 8:00am. We plan to keep the group together as much as possible, but you’ll definitely have opportunity to take a dig on a hill or two.
After the ride, we’ll have pastries and croissants, coffee brewed fresh, and you can check out what all Ben & Ryan are traveling around with in that Cycle Club of theirs.
If you’re used to parking in our driveway, the Mobile Cycle Club will be stationed there so we suggest you plan on street parking along Bruce Park Ave.
